Satellite Renal Treatment Centre, Coventry

Cool Logic were appointed by the mechanical contractor to carry out the installation and commissioning of the air conditioning and ventilation systems to the new Renal Treatment Centre within an operational health centre in Coventry.

A Daikin VRV IV heat recovery air conditioning system has been installed within the main and side ward treatment areas, office, meeting and staff zones. In addition, a heat recovery ventilation system is installed to provide fresh and extract air within all occupied areas of the refurbished area. We have also modified the existing supply and extract air system to suit the new layouts.

As the health centre remained operational at all times during the refurbishment works, a tightly controlled phased installation was undertaken to ensure that patient disruption was kept to an absolute minimum.
